Mozilla Teases with a New Browser - fx10

Good news for developers! Mozilla is all set to launch fx10, a new web browser specifically built for developers. The company claims that the upcoming browser is developed “by the developers for the developers” so that they can debug more and create a whole new web experience.

To enable developers to develop quickly and efficiently, the browser will be equipped with tools such as WebIDE and the Firefox Tools Adapter. So that they needn’t start from the scratch. It also allows the use of tools and templates from other sources.

More details will be released on November 10, when the company plans to launch the new fx10. Until then, let’s wait and watch.

Let’s Check The Inbox!

It’s the perfect e-mail tool...

It’s more than just an e-mail...

It is Google’s...

But it’s not Gmail.

Presenting Inbox, the latest e-mail tool from Google! (And it’s available only by invitation L)

From initially gathered information, Google’s newly launched e-mail service is nothing but a perfect blend of e-mail and organizer. It blends the amazing abilities of Google Now and the ease of Gmail. Here are its highlights:

Highlights:
Yes, one of the highlights of Inbox is indeed Highlights. Highlights, highlights your important messages such as flight itineraries, event information and photos and documents emailed to you.

Reminders:
As the name suggests, it will allow you to set reminder of everything and anything. Set a reminder to pick-up laundry or may be to call your bestie on her his birthday. It will just buzz you on the right time.

Assists:
It will provide you useful additional information that would make your tasks even easier. Like the contact information of that restaurant to make a reservation for the meet you have scheduled in your to-do list.

Snooze:
Well, it snoozes your Reminders and e-mails to remind you later about it.

Organize:
It also organizes your e-mails efficiently on behalf of you. E-mails with your documents such as receipts, insurances, statements, etc are grouped together.

So, do we farewell Gmail? Not so soon, because Google’s planning to run both shows. Just that the Inbox in marked for the next decade. Although, once you start using it you can Sign In through your Gmail id and still see your old Gmail e-mails.

Impressive? Want to use it? Just send an e-mail to at inbox@google.com and wait for your invitation.

Search Smart. Search Fast.

The Indian market seems to be on Google’s radar lately. Recently, it launched Android One for taking smart phone technology to the grassroot level, making it even more pocket-friendly. And now, realizing that many of the Indian smart phone users still depend on their 2G connection for internet, Google has introduced a new and faster version of Google Search.

It has smart feature which automatically checks if your wireless data connection is slow and delivers a fast loading page version by reducing its bytes. Although, you may not see some elements such as heavier images, maps, etc. unless they are absolutely necessary but without losing the quality of the search results. Isn’t it a great way to increase your surfing and page opening speed, all the while using lower consumption and saving costs!

Google ‘Scraps’ Orkut!

Orkut has now officially shut down. Google has bid farewell to the site that unfolded the world of social networking to all of us. Through scraps and communities, we found long lost friends and made new. All of this will now only remain in our memories and in archives.

Google will preserve Orkut Community Archive – 51 million communities, 120 million topics, and more than 1 billion interactions. So, we can still go down the memory lane to visit it once in a while.

Probably, we will not miss you Orkut but your mention will always be nostalgic!
